Photoshoot with nina and julian...I couldn't choose so you get 'em all.
Nina took a bunch of paintbrushes into Julian's crib today to "tickle him". And herself. And she even asked if I wanted to be tickled.
The braid thing is a new thing. I love love love it when she tries to braid my hair.
Jules is sitting up. Several seconds at a time. I don't remember the others being so gosh darned proud of themselves when they achieve these milestones. Jules is all smiles, tongue sticking out and squeals, looking for encouragement from Kai and Nina.

nate's bday

This photoshoot occurred at 9 PM, after Nina's super severe stomach cramping episode, Kai's chest burning episode, and all four of us cuddled together, sweating, on the couch watching Rango. (Which I can't wait to watch again. Along with Rio among my favorite movies, for children or not, in the past 5 years.) They recovered, Nate finally opened his presents and ate a few little bites of cake. Sorry Julian missed out on all the fun.

We're all about the Olympics here. Well, Nate and I are anyway. Well, I am anyway. I'm an inspired sucker. Must be the mom commercials.
Kai has a classmate whose brother just swam the 50 free in the Olympic trials. Wow.

I wanted to capture this beautiful babe in his last days in the cosleeper/in our room. We're planning to move him to his own room and his own crib I guess. I wouldn't mind just plopping him between Nate and I for awhile but Nina still has that spot. Precious little baby wrapped up in Nina's pink blanket. When he's particularly wound up or overtired, I turn the cosleeper so he can look at the trees out the bedroom window.
